Simplified Shipping

  • If your delivery address is outside of the UK, you may have to pay import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. From the 1st January 2021 this also includes EU countries. You must meet any additional charges for customs clearance or additional documentation. Please note, customs policies vary widely from country to country. We recommend you contact your local customs office for further information.
  • At checkout, you will be provided the option to choose between a DAP services (Delivery at Port) and a Simplified Shipping DDP (Delivery Duties Paid) service (Tracked – Duties, Taxes and Fees PAID). When opting for a DAP service you may have to pay import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country.
  • Please note international shipments may be subject to cross-border inspections by customs authorities. Overseas deliveries may be subject to local import duties and taxes, and may be affected by Customs and Excise delays. Please note that IDS cannot be liable for any local import duties and taxes imposed.
  • The DDP service (Tracked – Duties, Taxes and Fees PAID) calculates VAT within your customs fees (where applicable) at the applicable current rate chargeable.
  • If your parcel is returned to us due to unpaid customs fees we reserve the right to deduct the cost of the return from the refund of the returned goods.
  • Delivery cannot be guaranteed and IDS are not held responsible for parcels lost or delayed. For upgrade options please contact our Customer Services Team.

Your contribution to Postage & Packing:

All postage charges quoted are calculated on the net value of orders and might be subject to VAT.

All pricing on our website is now shown with no VAT. The price of a product purchased with a DAP service (International Tracked or Standard) excludes VAT and you will not be charged VAT at checkout. However VAT may become due once the shipment reaches your country. 

The price of a product purchased with a DDP service (Tracked – Duties, Taxes and Fees PAID) excludes VAT but VAT will be calculated within your customs fees (where applicable) at the applicable current rate chargeable.

EORI-Number Application

We recommend that all our IDS clients apply for an EORI number, whether they are dance schools, businesses or shops.

From 31 January 2020 the United Kingdom has left the European Union. Because of this, we have had to make significant changes to our terms and conditions and delivery terms. For more information on this, please click on the following link: https://www.idsdance.eu/info-eu-customers.

As IDS is a wholesale business, all our IDS customers, who are wholesale customers, need an EORI number so that their ordered goods can be delivered to EU countries without any problems.

Without this EORI number, ordered goods can be seized by customs and sent back to the UK.

If your order is returned to us with unpaid additional charges, all additional charges (i.e. the 19% VAT, potential customs charges and DHL service charges) will be deducted from the refund.

In addition, an EORI number allows you to prevent these returns and allows your package to pass through customs smoothly.

Unfortunately, we cannot apply for an EORI number on your behalf due to privacy policy reasons. Please follow the steps below to apply for an EORI number and to get more information after you have applied for a number:

 

  1.   2. Once you have completed the online application, you will receive an automatic email from the Customs Office confirming your application.
  3. The processing of your application can take approximately 4 to 6 weeks to complete.
  4. When you receive your EORI number, we ask you to send the number to our email address: customerservices@ids.co.uk so that we can update your account.
  5. Once the EORI number is saved to your account, this number will appear on all your future invoices.

Payment is required with the order and delivery may take up to 6 weeks.  Carriage will be charged at cost on all barres except mainland UK where normal terms apply. Customers outside the UK should contact customerservices@ids.co.uk for a delivery quote.

Delivery Information

  • Orders are despatched Monday to Friday. Orders placed before 1pm (UK Time) are despatched on the same day, or the next working day when the order falls on a weekend or Bank Holiday.
  • Prices for EC Countries/ROW are based on Royal Mail and DHL services. Acceptance of goods also constitutes acceptance of the terms and conditions.
